Plumstead Manor School, renowned for its forward-thinking approach to education, is proud to announce its partnership with Earniversity, the innovative platform dedicated to equipping young people with modern money-earning skills. This collaboration marks a significant step forward in providing students with practical, real-world opportunities to enhance their employability and financial literacy.

As part of this partnership...

... Plumstead Manor School will offer Earniversity’s Fast Track Challenge to its Year 12 and 13 students to participate in through the month of May and into June. The programme kicked off with a dynamic "Launch Event" at the annual Careers Fair in April, featuring multiple workshops designed to inspire and equip students with essential skills for success in the modern economy. This event served as a catalyst for identifying and onboarding 50 PMS students onto an exclusive 5-week Earniversity FTC programme, which started earlier this week.

"We are thrilled...

... to partner with Plumstead Manor School to bring the Earniversity programme to their students," says Dene Botha, COO and Head Coach at Earniversity. "Most financial programmes teach students how to save, how to invest, and how to spend. At Earniversity, we teach them how to earn, so that they can save, invest, and spend wisely."

Words for the participants...

One of the year 12 students joining Earniversity commented, “I would just like to express my gratitude for the session today. It was really interesting and has inspired me and my friends to start a podcast as a side-hustle. Thank you for your time and knowledge that you shared.”

In addition...

... to the Launch Event and FTC programme, Plumstead Manor School students will also benefit from a day workshop during World of Work (WOW) week in July, further enhancing their practical knowledge and skills in financial literacy and entrepreneurship.

Plumstead Manor School is committed to providing its students with the tools and resources they need to thrive in the ever-evolving landscape of the 21st century. Through its partnership with Earniversity, the school aims to empower its Year 12 and 13 students to become confident, resourceful, and financially savvy individuals, ready to seize opportunities and navigate the complexities of the modern world.
