As a young entrepreneur, what creative and efficient ways can you adopt to launch and promote your business online? At the forefront of your mind should be a generative AI tool like ChatGPT 4.

The capabilities of generative tools are vast and varied, which means they should be a real asset to your business. However using them ethically is key to ensuring your success without compromising your authenticity and your integrity, and losing trust in you and your brand, before you've really got started.

Here’s how you can ethically use ChatGPT 4, or indeed any similar tool, to plan and promote your digital business.

In this article I suggest tactics that will help you use AI effectively for each stage of your business. Alongside each tactic I provide methods for making sure that what you do with AI is ethical and human. The goal here is to use AI to amplify what makes you and your business different.

Choose a tool before you start

In this article I use ChatGPT-4 as my reference point. GPT 4 is the latest version and the aid for tool from OpenAI as the. There are couple of reasons for this:

  1. GPT 4 is the tool I use most often so a tool I know, well. Perhaps I'm a tad lazy.
  2. Related to the above, I use ChatGPT-4 because it is, in my opinion, the most capable tool for a variety of marketing tasks. Which I think 100% justifies my laziness...

Other tools exist that do a decent job. Maybe even a better job, for you, depending on your needs.

  • Google's Gemini tool is better than the free version of ChatGPT, version 3.5.
  • Claude from Anthropic (funded by Amazon, and Google again) is pretty decent too, and the one that some of the team at Earniversity HQ prefer.

The bottom line is try a few out, see what you like and get good at using it. And as we always say at Earniversity - learn by doing!

The next step is thinking about what your business will do.

Privacy and data security

  • When using ChatGPT 4 to analyse customer data for insights, adhere strictly to privacy laws and ethical guidelines. Not sure? Don't do it. It's not worth the fine or the damage to your brand
  • Secure consent before collecting or analysing data, and ensure information is used responsibly.

Diving into the digital business world with a tool like ChatGPT 4 can tilt the odds of winning in your favour.

But this isn't just any tool; it's a supercar that can turbocharge your journey from a budding idea to a booming market presence. Picture yourself, a savvy young entrepreneur, in the driving seat of your business, navigating through the vast digital landscape with ChatGPT 4 as both your map app and your engine.

But hold on one moment, before you hit the start button and zoom off into the sunset.

Remember, it's not all about speed and power. The real mastery lies in driving this machine with a deep sense of responsibility. You don't want to pollute people with bad ideas and weird content.

So, forget the fast car for a moment.

It's better to think of using AI like using The Force; with great power comes the need for control, ethics, and an unwavering respect for the rules of the game and the trust of your audience. That's the path that will pave the way to success for you and a better future for the customers and the communities you serve.
